Osmania on fire with self immolation bid.

Again the most unwanted and unexpected has striked the Osmania Univeristy. Respecting the Vice Chancellor’s call to protest peacefully, there was less aggression from students and police personnel visible in Osmania University from today early morning.

With the much anticipated call given by Telangana students JAC to cordon state assembly, police have made tight security arrangements in the city with heavy traffic restrictions imposed at each and every junction in all four directions of Osmania University in order for peaceful budget sessions.

Police are half successful as Roshaiah has presented the budget but a self immolation bid by Yadaiah, an intermediate second year student from Noble College hailing from Ranga Reddy district has created tension moments at Osmania University entrance.

Police tried to save the boy from fires but he kicked out everybody on his way and was almost burning in fires for 6 to 8 minutes, said a source. At last police caught Yadaiah and tried their best to put down the fires. He was later shifted Durga Bhai Deshmukh Andhra Maha Vidyalaya Hospital in Vidyanagar with almost entire body burnt. Suicide note left by Yadaiah clearly mentioned that he was vexed by the false promises made by Governments on Telangana issue and Telangana state formation looking a distant dream, so he is resorting to suicide.

Students raged at police barricades and police have resorted to Lathi charge but was of no use and presently the situation is still very hostile in near by areas by Osmania University with heavy traffic jams in and around Tarnaka.

Summing up in total, Hyderabad is once again burning in Telangana fires.
