Ready to contest Warangal by-polls: Raja Narasimha

Congress senior leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Damodar Raja Narasimha said that he was ready to contest the by-elections for Warangal Lok Sabha seat if the party High Commands fields him as a candidate.

Speaking to media persons in Assembly premises here on Saturday, Raja Narasimha said that he was willing to contest the Warangal by-elections and also expressed confidence of winning them. He said that the results of MPP elections of Sadashivpet clearly indicate that people have started reposing their faith on the Congress party. He said people have realised that it was the Congress party which granted statehood for Telangana and therefore, they started rejecting the wrong policies of TRS Government. He alleged that except for the family of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, no other person benefitted from the new State.
