Speaking to media persons in the Assembly premises, Sailajanath said that Kiran Kumar Reddy has resigned in protest against the decision of Congress party to divide Andhra Pradesh. He claimed that the Chief Minister's resignation was aimed at highlighting the plight of Seemandhra people and he was successful in his efforts.
Stating that he did not resign from the Congress party, Sailajanath said that he would announce his future plans at an appropriate time. When asked about who would be elected as the leader if the Congress Legislature Party meeting was convened, he said it would be known after the Congress party convenes the meeting.
He also slammed the Centre for passing the Telangana Bill in the Lok Sabha in an "unconstitutional manner". He said that the Seemandhra MPs were denied an opportunity to speak about the concerns of the people that they represent.

Former Minister Dokka Manikyavara Prasad on Thursday requested the Congress High Command to nominate a Backward Classes leader for the post of Chief Minister.
Speaking to media persons at the State Secretariat here, Dokka said that the Congress High Command could consider the candidature of union ministers JD Seelam or Panabaka Lakshmi for the post. Else he said, Medical Education Minister Kondru Murali Mohan was also capable of leading the State. When asked whether he was in the race for the CM's post, he ruled out the possibilities and said that he was not capable of becoming the Chief Minister.
Dokka said that he would abide by the decision of the Congress leadership and would work to strengthen the party in his constituency and district.

Director Ramana Reddy Soma got the optimum output from the cast and crew, and Hari Munnangi, Sasidhar Kocharlakota, and Manoj came up with spirited performances.The story is simple, but Ramana Reddy, with his screenplay, turned the film into an entertaining one blending humour, emotions, and Deccani dialogues in an effective way. However, predictability crept in with the passage of time, and the unidimensional screenplay hampered the proceedings. The rushed climax did not add much value to the ending. A little fine-tuning of the script and inclusion of a few more twists and turns would have added more power to the final impact. The first half sails off smoothly with the typical introduction of the protagonist in a commercial mass manner and carries it in the same manner. However, in between, he loses steam, but still, the first half ends on a decent note, setting the tone for the second half.He continues in the same manner in the second half but adds a few more intense emotional elements. A couple of twists generate interest, surprising all. The twists come as a surprise in a rather predictable story, and the flat narration, especially in the second half. However, once the twists are unraveled, there is nothing much in the story to take it forward. The climax ends on an emotional note.GV. Prakash Kumar elevated the scenes with his background music. His background score added impact to the emotional scenes. His music and tunes for the songs already became the chartbusters. The screenplay turned out to be decent, and the direction is to the point.The music for Pawan CH is attractive and appealing. The songs are situational and are shot well. While one song is emotional, the other two songs are foot-tapping. His background music is in sync with the story. Vinod Bangari's cinematography is quite good. He showed the rural atmosphere in Telangana in a natural and realistic manner. Srujan Adusumilli's editing could have been far better as there are many repetitive scenes that dragged the pace of the narration. Dialogues are natural and hard-hitting. The Ravi , Swetha love track and the father-daughter marriage episodes ends up testing the patience of the viewers.The court drama and the land dispute in the second half is shown in an illogical and silly manner. The point as to why son is hating his father is not shown in an elaborate manner and the father son bonding is not elevated properly except in the climax.A more racy screenplay, more intense and entertaining script would have added value to the narration. Many expected things to change after Vishal who was seen as a honest and innocent medical representive gets trageted. But nothing of that sorts happen and the entry of other Vishal character is expected to change the proceedings at least in the second half. However, the narration nosedives in the second half to a new low. The scenes featuring Vishal, Dushara Vijayan lack the emotional connect and looks mundane and the so called comedy with Thambi Ramaiah doesn't work.Things doesn't change in the second half and the so called flashback episode which is expected to take the film to next level is dragged to the core testing the patience of the viewers. The chemistry between Vishal and Anjali looked odd on screen and to the irritation of viewers, the pre climax and climax is dragged to the next level leaving people wonder when the film will end. The climax fight looked silly and illogical leaving all shocked. The story is outdated and screenplay and direction didnot inspire any confidence.GV. Prakash Kumar's music offered nothing new. While the screenplay is racy and narration is quite fast paced in the first half, the second half narration slides down with monotonous elements. The preachy dialogues and repetitive scenes put off viewers. Finally the movie ends in a predictable manner.The music of Charan Arjun is good. The title song already became a chartbuster and it is choreographed in a good way on the screen. His background music is in sync with the story. Many will be under the impression that the makers included these scenes to attract genex viewers and then wash off their hands with a message in the climax. A little finetuning of the script, and attention to the second half would have added more power to the final output. Considering all these elements, Cinejosh goes with a 1.5 rating for Husharu Pittalu.

Former minister and PCC OBC Department chairman Dr J Chitranjan Das on Thursday requested the Congress High Command to continue Botsa Satyanarayana on the post of PCC President.
Speaking to media persons at Gandhi Bhavan here, Chitranjan Das praised Botsa for effectively handling the situation after Congress Working Committee announced its decision on Telangana. He said that although Botsa expressed the concerns of Seemandhra people, he did not revolt against the party. Further, he did not create any obstacles in the formation of Telangana State.
Chitranjan Das also demanded that OBCs should be given 50 per cent representation in allocation of tickets and posts in both the States.
