The six MPs from Seemandhra region, who moved the No Confidence Motion against the UPA Government over the State's bifurcation issue, have been denied entry into the AICC meeting scheduled to be held on Friday.

According to sources, the MPs - Vundavalli Aruna Kumar, Sabbam Hari, Rayapati Samba Siva Rao, Sai Pratap, Harsha Kumar and Lagadapati Rajagopal have been denied passes for the AICC meeting. This was apparently done anticipating protest from the MPs against the division of Andhra Pradesh. The decision to deny passes was taken after Lagadapati wrote a letter to AICC General Secretary Janardhan Dwivedi seeking permission to move a resolution in the AICC meeting to keep Andhra Pradesh united. Fearing that pro-Samaikhyandhra MPs might create trouble, the Central leaderships took measures to keep them away from the venue.

However, in protest against denial of passes, the MPs are now planning to hold a dharna in front of the Talkatora Stadium, the venue of the AICC meet.
