TDP demands all party meet on Bayyaram

The Telugu Desam Party has demanded an all party meeting on Bayyaram mines and the cancellation of the GO allowing Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP) to exploit the mineral sources from the region

"We demand the government to cancel the GO allowing VSP to make use of the raw material from Bayyaram mines," TDP leader Erraballi Dayakar Rao said here today.

The Government should also convene an all party meeting to discuss about teh usage model of the raw materials of Telangana region, he said. We will continue to fight against the Government till the GO is withdrawn, he said. It was only due to our interference that the Bayyaram mines allotted to YS family members were cancelled, he said.

“We will meet the Governor ESL Narasimhan on May 17 seeking the cancellation of the GO allowing VSP to exploit the Bayyaram mines,” he said.
