Former minister Dr P Shankar Rao on Tuesday once again launched a tirade against Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy.
Talking to media persons at the Congress Legislature Party Office, Dr Shankar Rao said that Kiran Kumar Reddy was not in a position to win even the post of sarpanch in the Pileru Assembly constituency. Describing Kiran Kumar Reddy as the most 'inefficient' and 'ineffective' Chief Minister the State ever had, he appealed to the High Command to replace him with any other suitable leader from the party.
Dr Shankar Rao said that Kiran Kumar Reddy won from the Pileru Assembly constituency due to the sympathy votes for his father. “Kiran Kumar Reddy has no charisma or skills to win the elections," he said.
Responding to the Congress party's move to restrict the leaders, who speak against the party, from using the CLP office, Dr Shankar Rao said that he does not require anybody's permission to speak at the CLP. “As a Congress party worker I have every right to speak at the CLP and no one could encroach upon my rights," he said.
Appealing to the party to conduct local body elections immediately, he said that the people in municipal bodies have facing lot of problems due to absence of elected representatives.
