Chiru takes responsibility for five assembly seats in by-polls

Rajya Sabha member K Chiranjeevi on Saturday said that he would be held responsible to ensure victory of Congress candidates in  for winning of five Assembly constituencies in the ensuing by-elections held for the State.

Talking to media persons as part of his visit to East Godavari district, Chiranjeevi said that he would take whole responsibility for victory of Congress candidates in Tirupati, vacated by himself, Ramachandrapuram, Narsapuram, Payakaraopeta and Allagadda Assembly constituencies. He said that he would launch campaign in all the constituencies and work sincerely to ensure Congress party's victory in the ensuing by-elections.

Chiranjeevi also clarified that he would oppose the government's decisions, which goes against the public interest. He also stated that he would serve the people and party whether he was in the State or at the Centre.
