Prithviraj on his injury. Malayalam hero Prithviraj Sukumaran is popular for his versatile roles. He is playing an important power-packed role in Prabhas' Salaar under the direction of Prashant Neel of KGF fame.

A couple of days it came out that Prithviraj got injured while shooting for his upcoming film Vilayath Buddha. Reports came that he underwent keyhole surgery on his knee and doctors advised him 3 months rest.

Fans are praying for his recovery and in the midst of all this, Prithviraj Sukumaran came up with an update on his injury. He posted “Hello! So yes...I had an accident while shooting an action sequence for VILAYATH BUDDHA. Fortunately, I'm in the hands of experts who performed a keyhole surgery and I'm now recouping."

 “It's rest and physiotherapy ahead for a couple of months. Will try my best to use that time constructively, and I promise to fight through the pain to recover fully and get back into action asap. Thank you to all those who reached out and expressed concern and love.”
