Kanana Ranaut wraps Emergency

Kangana Ranaut is coming with a powerful and hard-hitting film Emergency. The film is a bold take on the imposition of emergency in the country during the regime of the then PM Indira Gandhi. According to the latest, Kangana Ranaut shared that she has wrapped the film's shoot. Sharing the details, Kangana posted "And it’s a wrap !!! Emergency filming completed successfully… see you in cinemas on 20th October 2023 … 20-10-2023 "

Kangana Ranaut is directing the film which stars Anupam Kher, Milind Soman, Ashok Chabbra, and Mahima Chowdhary in the roles of Jayaprakash Narayan, Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, Morarji Desai, and Pupul Jayakar respectively. The film's music is scored by GV.Prakash Kumar. The film's dialogues and screenplay are penned by Ritesh Shah.

The film is produced by Kangana Ranaut on Manikarnika Films banner. Kangana Ranaut has lined up many bold films on various topics like Kashmir and Ayodha Ram Mandir.
