Super Star Takes On Natural Star!

Come February 3rd, there will be one more battle of nerves at Box Office because Malayalam Super Star Mohan Lal’s ‘Kanupapa’ and Telugu Natural Star Nani’s ‘Nenu Local’ are hitting the screens at a time. Fortunately, both the films are holding extremely positive talk and are confident of shining bright in this early New Year season after three successful Pongal films.

‘Kanu Papa’ starring Mohan Lal in main lead is dubbed from Malayalam hit ‘Oppam’ wherein the protagonist plays a blind man. The crime thriller scripted and directed by Priyadarshan also has Samuthirakhani, Vimala Raman and Baby Meenakshi in top leads. In Box Office terms, ‘Oppam’ made Rs.60+ Crores in Kerala, Tamil Nadu breaking the industry records. After ‘Janatha Garage, Manyam Puli,’ there’s a secured market for Mohan Lal in Telugu states.

‘Nenu Local’ from Nani and Keerthy Suresh in Trinadh Rao Nakkina direction is bankrolled by Dil Raju. Meanwhile, Devi Sri Prasad’s rocking tunes and promotional stuff have generated immense curiosity. Hopefully, Nani is set to deliver one more hit film. Let’s see, how tight will be the fight between Mohan Lal and Nani.
