Most successful story writer Vijayendra Prasad is a man with never-to-give-up attitude. Passionate about the work at this age of 70+ isn’t an easy go for any human being. Of course, the tremendous success of his son Rajamouli as a director would serve a dose of glucose for this proud father. During a recent interview, Vijayendra Prasad shared his ideas for next projects and one of them is surely to catch the attention of Telangana movie lovers.
The seed for ‘Rajanna’ movie was sown by Suddala Ashok Teja when he narrated the epic history and inspirational fight of his father Suddala Hanumanthu. Definitely, ‘Rajanna’ stood as a good film despite the poor commercial success.
‘I am not completely satisfied with ‘Rajanna.’ I still have the impulse within me to work on a complete film based on Telangana history. There are many adventurous life stories in Telangana. People here never bother about social status. In Andhra, we generally see people questioning on what do you do, who is your father and what is he.
In Telangana, there is a supple emotion and first question people in this region will ask the other fellow is… ‘Babu Chai Thaaguthaavaa? Annam Thintaavaa?’ I like this simplicity here and their unwillingness to know about the social status of other people. I am looking for a producer and if god blesses me, I am sure to make a film with all these Telangana aspects,’ Vijayendra Prasad said.
Optimistically speaking, Vijayendra Prasad is no more the same writer now. He has grown pretty familiar all over the world. So, finding a producer for ‘Telangana Charithra’ should not be a big task.
