Telugu Warriors Lost the Match

The on going Celebrity Cricket League 4th season hasn’t been a good start for Telugu Warriors who lost a close match to Kerala Strikers today in Bangalore. The team owned by Sachiin Joshi of ‘Orey Pandu’ fame fought till the last ball to stop the chasing team of Kerala Strikers but could not pull off the trigger at final ball when the opposition has to score three runs. An unfortunate over throw and miss-fielding from boundary line throw which wasn’t cashed by bowler Aadarsh led to a humiliating defeat. 

Akkineni Akhil, who lost his grand father ANR three days ago, joined the team to perform duties as Vice Captain. Highlight of the match is Tarun got three catches at crucial times. Though the team of Telugu Warriors is strong in all the departments, they could not deliver the goods at right times both in bowling, fielding and batting. Next Telugu Warriors match is in Dubai against Mumbai Heroes on 1st February.
