Dancers Union conducts elections

Dancers Union conducts elections. It is known that couple of days back Telugu Film Employees Federation took a strong action against the Dancers’ Union announcing non cooperation.
However, despite this, Dancers' Union conducted elections. A source shared “One team participated in the elections, while several other members boycotted them. Of the 10 executive committee members who had resigned recently, six members were elected unopposed to key positions, including general secretary and treasurer,”
Sumalatha's Telugu Film & TV Dancers Association, conducted elections from 9AM to 5 PM today. The source shared "Of the around 600 members of the union, only about 120 members participated in the voting, which amounts to roughly 20 per cent of the total membership. The majority of the members boycotted the elections. Some members who turned up at the venue also chose not to exercise their franchise,”
The source shared “We have to see whether the Federation will accept or reject the newly elected members,” It continued "The dispute, which initially emerged as a disagreement between choreographers Jani Master and Sekhar Master, has now escalated into a larger confrontation between the Federation and the Dancers’ Union."
