Niharika offers Bangaru Bonam at Sri Mahankaleshwara Temple. The auspicious and prestigious festival of Bonalu, Telangana state festival, is celebrated with utmost spirituality by all the people, ranging from commoners to celebrities.

According to the latest, Niharika Konidela, actor-producer turned spiritual and offered Bangaru Bonam at the prestigious Sri Mahankaleswara Temple at Mir Alam Mandi in the Old City, Hyderabad.

She offered special prayers at the temple. Temple priests, as per the customs, welcomed her with poorna kumbham and the authorities felicitated her. Earlier she sought the blessings of Mahakali amidst Vedic chants. Gajula Anjaiah, Temple priest briefed her the history of the temple and also the significance and traditions of the Bonalu celebrations conducted under the temple's auspices.

Niharika, speaking to scribes, said she couldn't attend the temple on the main Bonalu day due to her shooting schedule and so now chose to attend the event and seek the blessings of the Goddess. She said, "A few days ago, I said that I wished someone would take me to Bonalu. I never imagined that my wish would be fulfilled so soon. I believe this is the Goddess's blessing."

She added, "The Goddess is immensely powerful. Today's darshan was very peaceful and spiritually fulfilling. The divine radiance of the idol was truly mesmerizing. I pray that I get another opportunity to visit and seek the blessings of Amma once again."
