Kamal behind Indian 3 revival

Kamal Haasan and Shankar longtime back came with Indian 2, the sequel to the hit film Indian. The sequel which released amidst huge expectations after more than 3 decades turned out to be a huge disaster.

During that time itself, the makers talked about Indian 3. Following the Indian 2 disaster, many expected the third part would be shelved. However, recently the makers sprang a surprise by announcing Indian 3 . Inside talk is the producer was not keen to take the risk with the third part though the shoot was completed 95% at that time itself.

Soureces say Kamal Haasan felt that by not releasing the third part, all the hardwork will go for a toss and had worked with producer Subaskaran and director Shankar.He asked Subaskaran to give another chance to Shankar to complete the remaing part.

However the budget is once again becoming the burning point. Shankar asked for another Rs 50crs but producer Subaskaran asked Shankar to finish the film with whatever resources they have without increasing the budget.
