Actor Jyotika backed students protesting NEET paper leaks and urged Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan to resign. “I stand with students and accountability. I stand for a democratic India,” she posted. Her statement came amid nationwide outrage over alleged paper leaks and calls for education reforms.

Trolls accused her of politicizing the issue and supporting vandalism. Jyotika replied, “What about government damaging student heads and body?” To another critic about South cinema, she said, “I love South. It’s my home. Don’t choose negativity.” She dismissed “toolkit” claims with sarcasm.

Some users alleged Jyotika was speaking for CJP and not real student concerns, linking celebrities to political agendas. She shot back, “Oooohhh toolkit! Fancy. I thought I wrote I support students. Let me check.” Her direct replies drew both praise and criticism online.

Jyotika was last seen in Prime Video’s System with Sonakshi Sinha, who also voiced support for protesters. Known for socially relevant films like 36 Vayadhinile, Jyotika often speaks on education and women’s issues, making her NEET stance consistent with her public image.
