Peddi Hits 292.5 Crores In 4 Days With Blockbuster Run

Ram Charan’s sports drama Peddi has become a big hit at the box office. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film collected 292.5 crores gross worldwide in just 4 days. It opened with 135.36 crores gross on Day 1 and kept strong numbers through the weekend.

The film saw 46.44 crores gross on Day 2, 54.9 crores gross on Day 3, and added 55.8 crores gross on Day 4. Trade reports say the Telugu version is the main driver with support from overseas markets like USA, UK and Gulf. Fans and analysts on social media are calling it a blockbuster and an undisputed champion of June 2026.

Set in 1990s rural Andhra Pradesh, Peddi shows a lower caste villager who uses sports to earn respect for his community. Ram Charan leads the film with Janhvi Kapoor and Shivrajkumar in key roles. Jagapathi Babu, Divyenndu and Boman Irani also play important parts.

The film is produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas, co-produced by Ishan Saksena under IVY Entertainment, and presented by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings. Oscar-winning AR Rahman composed the music. With this strong opening, Peddi has marked a big comeback for the team and is holding well at the box office with Ram Charan winning all accolades for his terrific performance and transformation for the role.
