Madras High Court posts Dhanush petition next month

It is known that Dhanush filed a case against Nayanthara and her husband Vignesh Sivan and Netflix for using the clip from his film Naanum Rowdy Thaan without obtaining his permission.

According to the latest, it is coming out that Madras High Court decided to hear Dhanush's petition on 8 Jan 2025.

It is known that when Dhanush denied permission to use the 3 min clip, Nayanthara and Vignesh Sivan did not heed and used the clip for their wedding documentary "Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairytale.". Following this Dhanush sent a law suit demanding Rs 10crs defamation for the alleged misuse of the footage.

Following this Nayanthara accused Dhanush of troubling many of his costars. Though Dhanush did not react, his legal counsel filed a petition against Nayanthara and Vignesh Sivan in the High Court and now High Court decided to hear the case from  Jan 2025.
