Sridevi against Janhvi becoming an actor. Janhvi Kapoor, a talented actress, has been making waves not only in Bollywood but also in South Indian cinema. Currently, she is busy with two upcoming projects in Tollywood. One of her films, titled Devara, marks her debut in Telugu cinema and stars Jr NTR. The other film, a Telugu project, features none other than Ram Charan and is directed by Buchibabu Sana. Notably, the film will be produced by the acclaimed producers of Pushpa.
Janhvi's recent Hindi film, Mr and Mrs. Mahi, which hit the screens last weekend, has been performing well at the box office. During the promotional interviews for the film, Janhvi shared some interesting insights. In one of the interviews, she revealed that her late mother, the legendary actress Sridevi, never wanted her to pursue a career in acting. Janhvi recalled, "Every time I would dress up and look at myself in the mirror, talking about being an actress, my mom would tell me that she always wanted me to be a doctor."
On the work front, Janhvi has completed shooting for a significant portion of Devara. The only pending work includes a couple of songs, which are expected to be wrapped up soon. The film is slated for an October release. Meanwhile, the shooting for the Ram Charan starrer film is scheduled to begin in July or August.
The film will feature music composed by the renowned A R Rahman and will include multiple stars from the Tamil and Kannada film industries. Further details about the project are eagerly awaited.
