Kajal shares experience of riding horse after postpartum.Kajal Aggarwal recently opened up about the changes in her approach to work after giving birth to her son Neil. The acclaimed actor admitted that it was difficult to shoot with a baby near Tirupati and that she had only taken a break from work in her first trimester. Kajal even shot for an advertisement at home just a few days after giving birth because she was honouring a commitment.
Despite the challenges, Kajal returned to the set of Shankar's Kamal Haasan-starrer "Indian 2" just two months after giving birth. She engaged in horse-riding and kalarippayattu, even though it was excruciatingly painful. Although Shankar tried to adjust her schedule, Kajal felt that she had to complete the film, describing it as the toughest thing she had ever done in her life. During the shoot near Tirupati, Kajal took her baby along as she was still feeding him, pumping between shots and sending milk back to his room.
However, Kajal acknowledged that she also had separation anxiety while going to work, wondering if she was being a bad mom. She took therapy to deal with all of the negative emotions that come with being a working mother, taking ant-depressants when it was safe to do so. She stated that nothing much changed after she got married, but motherhood changed her as a person, making her prioritize her family as the most important thing.
Kajal's commitment to balancing her professional and personal responsibilities shines through. She maintains that her husband, Gautam, can always reach her, no matter how busy she is. Kajal's journey into motherhood has reshaped her approach to work, providing a deeper appreciation for the challenges faced by working mothers.
"Indian 2" with the tagline "Zero Tolerance" has been in production since 2019. The movie will see Kamal Haasan reprise his role as Senapathy while Kajal, Siddharth, and Rakul Preet Singh will star in leading roles.
