Case filed against Thalapathy Vijay.During the first phase of the 2024 Lok Sabha general elections in Tamil Nadu, numerous prominent actors exercised their voting rights in various constituencies, drawing attention from the public and media alike. Among them, actor-turned-politician Joseph Vijay, affectionately known as Thalapathy, made headlines as he arrived to cast his vote. However, recent reports indicate that a police case has been filed against the actor. Let's delve into the details!

Joseph Vijay, amidst the shooting schedule of his film "GOAT (The Greatest of All Time)," interrupted his commitments and returned to India to participate in the voting process at Neelankarai polling booth in Tamil Nadu. According to sources, a police complaint has been lodged by a social activist, alleging Vijay of causing disturbance and inconvenience to the public during his voting stint for the Lok Sabha elections.

It's reported that Vijay arrived with a large entourage of over 200 people, resulting in chaos and disorder at the Neelankarai polling booth. However, it's essential to note that there's no official confirmation of these allegations, and the actor's spokesperson is yet to respond to the reports.

The incident underscores the importance of effective crowd management, especially concerning celebrities during public events. Videos circulating on social media depict Vijay being mobbed at the polling booth, despite stringent security measures in place. Notably, this isn't the first time Vijay has encountered legal issues. Previously, after the release of the popular single "Whistle Podu," a complaint was filed against him for allegedly promoting drugs and alcoholism by omitting the warning message in the music video.

Regarding "GOAT," the film's new poster showcases Vijay in dual roles, one of which appears younger, possibly achieved through de-aging technology. Directed by Venkat Prabhu, the movie features an ensemble cast including Mohan, Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Sneha, Laila, Jayaram, Meenakshi Chaudhary, and Yogi Babu. Yuvan Shankar Raja handles the music, with Siddhartha Nuni as the cinematographer and Venkat Raajen editing the film. Scheduled for a global release on September 5, 2024, "GOAT" promises an intriguing cinematic experience.
