Shraddha Kapoor Stree Meets Varun Dhawan Bhediya

Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao starrer 'Stree' was a runaway hit. Blending humour with horror, Stree explores societal norms and superstitions. The film successfully balances scares and laughs while delivering a message on gender issues. Sequel, ‘Stree 2’ is in its final stages of filming. The movie, which will delve into the story and answer the question of ‘who is the real Stree?’ will soon be released in theatres. 

On the other hand, Varun Dhawan starrer Bhediya which explores the story of turning him into a werewolf has turned out into a decent success. Bhediya and Stree were produced by Dinesh Vijyn and Directed by Amar Kaushik. Makers decided to turn both the films into franchises and also bring them into a comedy horror universe.

Recently, it was reported that Varun Dhawan shot with Shraddha Kapoor for his cameo in the horror comedy Stree 2. In the movie, Varun will be portraying the character of Bhediya, creating an exciting crossover within the same cinematic universe.

The shooting for Varun’s scene with Shraddha took place at a studio in Mumbai. His role in the film will lay the foundation for Bhediya 2, also set in the same universe. As soon as Stree 2 gets completed, the makers will focus on the script of Bhediya 2, which will see Varun Dhawan reprise his role as a shape-shifting werewolf.
