Aamir coming with Sitaare Zameen Par. Superstar Aamir Khan has announced his involvement in an upcoming feature film titled "Sitaare Zameen Par" which he will both star in and produce. During the 'Amrit Ratna 2023' event, the 58-year-old actor revealed some insights into the project.

Aamir explained, "We are taking a leap forward with the theme of 'Taare Zameen Par.' While 'Taare Zameen Par' brought tears, this film will bring laughter. In 'Taare,' I assisted Darsheel's character, but in this film, I'll have nine individuals, each with their own unique challenges, assisting me.""Taare Zameen Par" originally told the story of an eight-year-old gifted boy named Ishaan, with Aamir playing the role of his art teacher who discovers the child's dyslexia and helps him realize his true potential.

Despite a hiatus in his acting career since the release of "Laal Singh Chaddha" in 2022, Aamir Khan is actively involved in his production ventures. He mentioned, "I'm producing three films, including 'Laapata Ladies,' directed by Kiran Rao, releasing on January 5. Additionally, there's a project with my son Junaid Khan, and 'Lahore 1947' with Rajkumar Santoshi and Sunny Deol, which I'm eagerly anticipating."

"Laal Singh Chaddha," directed by Advait Chandan, was an official adaptation of the Hollywood classic "Forrest Gump." After a lukewarm performance at the box office, Aamir decided to take a break from acting to focus on his family.

During the same event, Aamir Khan made another significant announcement about his son, Junaid Khan, entering the film industry as a producer. He revealed, "Like his grandfather, filmmaker Tahir Hussain, Junaid is venturing into film production with 'Pritam Pyaare,' in which I have a cameo. Additionally, he will be acting in 'Maharaj.'"

"Maharaj" is inspired by true events and is set in the 1800s. It centers around a regular man who works as a journalist and takes on a powerful societal role model, often hailed as a savior for the masses. The fearless reporter uncovers a series of incidents that challenge the very foundations of society.
