Director G Ashok enjoys a strong and enduring relationship with Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar, a bond that formed during their collaboration on the highly-anticipated Hindi film 'Durgamati.' Since then, their connection has only grown stronger, and Ashok's schedule in Bollywood has become increasingly busy. He is currently engrossed in two major Hindi projects: 'UFFF' and 'Kuch Khatta Hojaay,' with yet another significant Bollywood venture on the horizon.

Speaking about his ongoing projects, Ashok shared, "Yes, I am currently occupied with the creation of two substantial Hindi films, which has led me to spend a considerable amount of time in Mumbai. One of these projects is 'UFFF,' a wholesome entertainer featuring the talented Shohum Shah and the charismatic Nushratt Bharucha in leading roles. The film is being produced under the guidance of the esteemed Hindi film director Rajan from Luv Films, and we are privileged to have the musical genius, A R Rahman, composing soulful melodies for us. Additionally, I am also working on another intriguing Hindi film titled 'Kuch Khatta Hojaay,' featuring playback singer-turned-actor Guru Randhawa and the talented Sai Manjrekar, with the legendary Anupam Kher playing a pivotal role. This youthful and engaging entertainer is set to grace the silver screen this December."

Ashok's proficiency in the Hindi language has greatly facilitated his transition to Bollywood. He revealed, "I am well-versed in Hindi, which has made the transition quite smooth. Hindi was my second language during my school and college years. In fact, I have a strong command over 14 languages, including Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and others, as I consider myself a polyglot. I have a deep passion for learning new things and expanding my knowledge across various domains."

Regarding his enduring rapport with Akshay Kumar, Ashok shared fondly, "After the release of my Hindi film 'Durgamati,' I was fortunate enough to be contacted by Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar. Our bond goes beyond the professional realm, as he is not just a superstar but also an exceptional human being. Akshay Kumar has been a constant source of encouragement, staying updated on my endeavors in Bollywood and generously offering his valuable insights. We maintain regular communication, discussing a myriad of topics. Collaborating with him would undoubtedly be a dream come true for me, although the timing of such an opportunity remains uncertain."
