Shruti Haasan EYE Winning Big At International Festivals

Shruti Haasan has scored back-to-back blockbusters earlier this year with Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy. But, she did got many offers here in south film industry. Meanwhile she acted in some webseries. Her biggest release is Prabhas's Salaar Part 1 : Ceasefire which is slated to hit the screens on 22nd December.

Shruti Haasan is doing a foreign film titled The Eye. She has shared the first look poster of The Eye. The poster features Haasan and her co-star Mark Rowley sharing an intense and emotional moment together. The Daphne Schmon directorial is making waves across the festival circuit and has been nominated for best director and best director of photography at the Greek International Film Festival. It has also been nominated for best film at the London Independent Film Festival.

Sharing the poster on her Instagram page Haasan wrote, “The Eye Sometimes you get to be a part of something magical, emotional and truthful - this was that special movie for me - I can’t wait for all of you to see it The Eye has been nominated for best director @daphneschmon and best dop @jameschegwyn at the Greek International Film screenings - nominated for best film at the London Independent Film Festival. The Eye was filmed in Corfu and made with love and care for the environment as well, the entire cast and crew worked toward reducing the environmental and carbon impact using the green shoots sustainability platform."

Shruti Haasan has pinned hopes on Salaar. She is also playing a crucial role in Nani's Hi Nanna. Makers have kept her role under wraps so far.
