NTR Devara to release in two parts. Young Tiger NTR's highly-anticipated upcoming film, "Devara," directed by the acclaimed Koratala Siva, has been generating immense excitement among fans and cinephiles alike. This action thriller promises to be a significant cinematic experience, especially as it marks the Telugu film debut of the talented Jahnvi Kapoor. The ensemble cast also includes the likes of Saif Ali Khan, Shine Tom Chacko, Prakash Raj, Narain, and more, all in pivotal roles.
"Devara," which translates to "God," is set to unfold the tales of the coastal areas of India, a captivating backdrop for this grand cinematic spectacle. In a recent update from the director, Koratala Siva took to social media to make an exciting announcement—the film will be released in two parts. He explained that the scope of the story was so vast that the canvas grew larger with each passing day. Each character in the film carries significant weight and deserves in-depth exploration and establishment.
In a video message to the audience, Koratala Siva shared, "I am here to share an interesting update about the film. As I said earlier, the film is set in the backdrop of the forgotten lands of Coastal India. The canvas is too big. As we started shooting the film, it started getting bigger and bigger, and every character in the film has got its own weight. They need to be explored and established in depth and detail, which we can't justify in one part. So we took a decision to tell this big story in two parts. The story won't change in shape but will thrive in scale. So I am here to share this news that one of the biggest canvas ever of Devara will be done in two parts. And April 5th is just the beginning."
The filmmakers are sparing no expense in bringing this epic tale to life, with a staggering budget of Rs 140 crore allocated for its VFX, accounting for 33 percent of the movie's original budget. This commitment to visual effects necessitates the film's release in two parts.
The eagerly awaited first part of "Devara" is slated to hit the screens on April 5th next year, marking a significant milestone as it is Jr. NTR's 30th film. Alongside NTR and Saif Ali Khan, the movie also features the talented Ramya Krishna, with reports suggesting that actress Chaitra Rai will be joining the star-studded cast. The film is produced by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts, with music composition by the maestro Anirudh Ravichander.
"Devara" promises to be a cinematic extravaganza that will captivate audiences with its grandeur and storytelling prowess, leaving them eagerly awaiting the second part to complete this epic journey.
