Superstar Mahesh Babu's Guntur Kaaram in Trivikram's direction was much talked about when the first annoucement was made. But, fate has other plans. The film faced controversies at every stage. It got delayed for months and then the film has changed its story and restarted it's shoot. After a while actors got replaced and rumors were rife that even key technicians will be replaced. After all these issues, the film is on track with regular shooting and getting ready for Sankranthi Release.

There were many rumours spread across the industry when the film's leading lady, Pooja Hegde exited from the film. Producer Naga Vamsi gave clarity speaking to Scribes about her exit. He said that the film was supposed to get released in August. But, due to unforeseen circumstances, it got pushed to January. He further said that, as the team has plenty of time, they proceeded slowly. Due to this, Pooja L's dates got clashed with other Hindi film and so she left the project, as per Naga Vamsi.

After Pooja leaving Guntur Kaaram, Sree Leela who was second female lead got promoted as main heroine opposite Mahesh and Meenakshi Chaudhary steps in as second female lead in the film. Naga Vamsi also gave clarity that the film is on track for January 12th release and two songs were recorded. First single from the film will be out soon.

He also spoke about other projects in their banner. Naga Vamsi also gave clarity that contrary to recent reports, Sree Leela is very much playing the female lead opposite Vijay Deverakonda in Gautam Tinnanuri's directorial. Vaisshnav Teja's Adikesava, Vishwak Sen's Gangs Of Godavari and Siddhu's Tillu Square are under production. Nandamuri Balakrishna's film With Bobby will be a very unique story. Allu Arjun's film with Trivikram and NTR's film with Trivikram are in the pipeline, revealed Naga Vamsi
