The poster paints a vivid picture of Vijay Sethupathi, drenched in blood, seated in a police station with a menacing sickle in hand. His left ear appears to have been severed in a gruesome display.

In his address to the media, the actor expressed his gratitude, saying, "I appreciate both your praise and criticism. Reaching 50 wasn't something I expected; it feels like a significant milestone. Reflecting on how far we've come fills us with hope and enriches our reservoir of experience, including patience and wisdom. I extend my heartfelt thanks to all the directors and fellow artists who have contributed to my growth."

He reminisced about the serendipitous moment when, after completing the dubbing for 'Naan Mahaan Alla,' he and Aruldas Annan exchanged phone numbers. It was a chance occurrence when they received two missed calls, leading them to discover that their friend Seenu Ramasamy was directing a film. Despite not sharing a particularly close relationship at the time, Seenu Ramasamy urged him to be a part of the project. Sethupathi's decision to heed this advice has brought him to where he stands today, and he expressed his gratitude to Aruldas and Seenu sir for this pivotal moment.

Turning his attention to 'Maharaja,' Sethupathi commended the stellar performances of Natti Sir, Aruldas Anne, and Singambuli Anne. He also praised Abhirami and Mamata for their remarkable acting skills, highlighting his admiration for Abhirami Medathoda since her appearance in 'Virumandi.' He believes 'Maharaja' will resonate with audiences both artistically and commercially, thanks to Nithilan's vision of delivering substantial profits to the film's producer.

Sethupathi also acknowledged the inclusion of Anurag Kashyap in the film, noting that Anurag is not only a talented director but also a commendable actor. With a simple phone call, Anurag eagerly agreed to join the project, adding his unique touch to the film.
