Boxoffice juggernaut, Shahrukh Khan's Jawan is creating a new record with every passing day. It has toppled many records set by Shahrukh Khan's Pathaan earlier this year. The action-thriller has hit Rs 500 crore in terms of worldwide gross box office collections. With this, Shah Rukh Khan has become the only Indian actor to achieve this feat twice in a single year.

Shah Rukh Khan’s previous release Pathaan made a total of Rs 1,055 crore during its lifetime at the global box office. Jawan is also the number one movie in international markets outside North America for the September 7-10 weekend. The Shah Rukh Khan film is the second biggest grosser at the worldwide box office for the weekend.

On Sunday Jawan created rampage at the ticket windows, it collected Rs 80 Crores in Hindi alone. Followed by 6 Crores in Tamil and 4 Crores in Telugu version. This takes 90 Crs on Sunday in India alone. For its four days the film has crossed Rs 520+ Crores globally. With this the film became fastest to reach 200, 300, 400, 500 Crore mark. Pathaan stands as fastest film to reach 100 Cr mark.

Jawan written and directed by Atlee also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani , Sunil Grover among others. It also features Deepika Padukone in a special appearance. Anirudh has composed the music while Gauri Khan produced it under SRK's home banner Red Chillies Entertainment.
