Why Anushka Took A Break After Baahubali?

Reason behind Anushka break. Anushka Shetty gained widespread recognition for her portrayal of Devasena in SS Rajamouli's Baahubali.In a recent interview,  she candidly shared her deliberate choice to focus on Tamil and Telugu films instead of pursuing more pan-Indian projects. 

Following Baahubali, she fulfilled her commitment to the Telugu film "Bhaagamathie" in 2018 and later participated in the bilingual OTT release "Nishabdham" in 2020.During her conversation , Anushka explained, "After completing Baahubali, I had prior commitments, including 'Bhaagamathie,' and I felt the need to take a break. This decision was entirely by choice and something I deeply needed at that time. It may not align with common expectations, but I prioritized this time off to be more present for my upcoming projects. While I didn't consider any scripts during that period, I have since been open to new opportunities. If an exciting project arises, regardless of the language, I'm ready to embrace it."

Anushka Shetty recently made her much-awaited return to the silver screen with the Telugu film "Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty," directed by Mahesh Babu, where she portrays the character of a chef in a romantic drama that has received acclaim for its positive reviews.
