Kushi Gets A Sensational Start

Kushi sensation on Day 1. Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Vijay Deverakonda romantic film Kushi recorded a wonderful opening in theatres on Friday. 

The film got Rs 30crs collections in gross on the first day across the world.Telugu version of the film achieved an impressive occupancy rate of approximately 59.13 percent, while the Tamil version had an overall occupancy of 40.12 percent. With a ₹16 crore opening, the film is poised for a successful weekend run.

"Kushi" is a creation of Shiva Nirvana, with production credits going to Mythri Movie Makers. Besides Telugu, the film has been dubbed in Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam. The cast includes Jayaram, Sachin Khedakar, Murali Sharma, Lakshmi, Ali, Rohini, Vennela Kishore, Rahul Ramakrishna, Srikanth Iyengar, and Saranya.

The storyline revolves around the blossoming love between Vijay's Viplav and Samantha's Aaradhya during their separate vacations in Kashmir. However, familial interference threatens to keep them apart. To prove their families wrong, they take the plunge into marriage, but their union faces challenges when differences arise. Their relatable yet enchanting journey through the highs and lows of romance takes center stage in the narrative.
