Thalaivar 170 going to sets. Rajinikanth's next with TJ. Gnanavel of Jai Bhim fame is generating immense interest among movie lovers.

The makers already completed the pre-production and they performed the muhurat puja at a reputed hotel in Chennai. Rajinikanth and other important cast attended the muhurat puja.

The official announcement and the videos and pictures of the muhurat puja will be coming out soon. The film stars Big B Amitabh Bachchan in a powerful role while Sharwanand is playing an important role. Fahadh Faasil and Manju Warrier play crucial roles in the film.

Anirudh Ravichander is the music director and Rajini will be seen as a Muslim cop in the film which is based on real-life incidents. TJ. Gnanavel is expected to touch the repercussions of a fake encounter in the film in a hard-hitting manner just like he did in Jai Bhim. The film's regular shoot will start from the third week of September.
