Kamal Haasan captured the imagination of all scoring a hit and reviving his fortunes at the box office with the action thriller Vikram. The film directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj featured versatile actors Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil. Lokesh Kanagaraj sprang a surprise by casting Suriya in a powerful cameo in the climax and set the stage for the film's sequel. Now speculation is increasing on Vikram sequel and the stars who could be part of the project. Already rumours have it that Suriya will be playing the powerful role along with Kamal Haasan and now inside talk is Chiyaan Vikram will be playing an important role. Some however say that this may not be Vikram sequel but another project and is a sequel to Kamal Haasan's blockbuster Thevar Magan. Sources say the project is titled Thalaivan Irukinran and Vikram will be seen as Kamal Haasan's son. Vijay Sethupathi according to sources has signed the project even before Vikram and he will be seen as Nassar's son. Lokesh Kangaraj is making numerous changes in the aftermath of the sensation of Vikram.
