Ever since Prabhas' much-awaited and most anticipated period romantic entertainer Radhe Shyam turned out to be a colossal disaster, people are wondering what went wrong with Prabhas. They are also drawing comparisons between his decisions and that of other actors' decisions. In the midst of all this, one gets a feeling that Prabhas failed while Allu Arjun succeeded.

It is known that Allu Arjun after getting a shock in form of Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India, went on an introspection mode and did Ala Vaikunthapuramlo. It is known that he had taken more than a year break between the two projects. Later Allu Arjun pounced on Sukumar's Pushpa which was rejected by Mahesh Babu. In between, though he lined up Icon with Venu Sriram and though Venu Sriram scored a hit with Pawan Kalyan's Vakeel Saab, he set aside that project.

This shows that Allu Arjun is acting according to the situation. It is not clear whether he will do Icon at all or not as he is planning to turn it into a pan India project. He is in talks with other star directors like Boyapati Srinu and Sanjay Leela Bhansali. This is in stark contrast with Prabhas who after Rebel, did Mirchi to revive his career and then created a sensation with Baahubali. But instead of cashing on Baahubali and team with high profile directors, he went ahead with newcomers like Sujeeth and Radha Krishna Kumar for Saaho and Radhe Shyam. He should have put those two projects in the backburner just like how Allu Arjun did with Icon. But he didn't and is now experiencing the pain looking at his burnt hands.
