Nani’s V: Publicity Full, Content Null!

Nani and Mohana Krishna Indraganti’s is a super hit combo. Their previous films Ashta Chamma and Gentleman were commercial hits. But, their third film V is a badly made movie with zero novelty in story, screenplay and narration. It’s an outdated concept which Tollywood witnessed numerous occasions.

Given it is a first big Telugu film for Amazon Prime, they are promoting the film vigorously on various platforms such as TV channels, newspapers and digital media. Apparently, the film has got record views on day one. But, it may not repeat value due to lack of exciting elements.

Indraganti’s main strength is comedy. Whenever he made experiments, he botched utterly. His experimental films like Mayabazar and Bandipotu ended up as disasters. Now, V has also got lukewarm response as the content is not appealing to any sections.

Films with simple concepts like Ashta Chamma and Sammohanam stood as hits. Gentleman was also a mediocre subject, except for Indraganti mark hilarity. In fact, the film turned out to be a hit because of Nani factor and good time of release.

Apparently, Nani, Sudheer Babu, producer Dil Raju and every other body associated with the film believed Indraganti completely. But, the director disappointed them completely.

The romantic tracks of Sudheer Babu-Nivetha Thomas and Nani-Aditi Rao Hydari lacked appealing factor. Then, the mind game of Nani-Sudheer Babu wasn’t brainy. Many felt that, the last song on Harish Uthaman was a pathetic idea. Even the last ‘twist’ was predictable. It’s better, not to talk about the flashback episode.

Hope, Indraganti will come up with a novel subject for his next film!
