Uppena 1st Song Lyrical: Beautiful Qawwali

Music director Devi Sri Prasad was criticized in recent times for his mediocre songs in last few films. To prove his mettle another time, the star composer comes up with a beautiful Qawwali for Uppena. The lyrical video of the film’s first song- Nee Kannu Neeli Samudram is released by Koratala Siva.

Director Buchi Babu Sana in the promo was seen explaining the situation of the song to Devi Sri Prasad. Now, the lyrical video shows the love story of Vaishnav Tej and Krithi Shetty in the film. When he is young, Tej sees Krithi at a Dargah and falls flat for her. The love story begins there and he enjoys every bit of her presence from then.

Lyrics are catchy and Javed Ali croons the song wonderfully. Vaishav Tej looks charming, wherein Krithi is gorgeous. This song definitely creates good buzz on the film made under Mythri Movie Makers in association with Sukumar Writings.

Uppena that also features Vijay Sethupathi is heading for release on April 2nd.
