Review 2019: Remakes Which Impressed

A few decades back dubbing and remake films ruled the roost in Tollywood. Of late, however, Tollywood films started creating a sensation across the country. Apart from it, Tollywood filmmakers scored hits by remaking few other languages films and bettering the originals.

Arjun Reddy is a sensation in Tollywood. The film got remade in Bollywood as Kabir Singh and Sandeep Reddy Vanga became a rage in B-Town. The film is remade in Kollywood also. The film is titled Aditya Varma in Kollywood. Aditya Varma starred Vikram's son Dhruv as a hero. Plans are on to remake the film in Mollywood with Mohan Lal's son Pranav as a hero.

Nani, Goutham Tinnanuri's Jersey attracted all. The film is getting remade in Bollywood with Shahid Kapoor in the lead. Dil Raju, Allu Aravind, and Aman Gill are producing the remake.

Similarly, Venkatesh, Varun Tej's F2 is getting remade in Bollywood by Dil Raju and Boney Kapoor. RX 100 which created a sensation in Tollywood is getting remade in Bollywood with Suneil Shetty's son Ahan Shetty in the lead.

Apart from it, Naga Chaitanya's 100% Love, Pawan Kalyan's Attarintiki Daaredi, NTR's Temper got remade in Kollywood.

Tollywood makers too scored hits with remakes. Adivi Sesh remade Bollywood hit Badla as Evaru. The film is inspired by Hollywood film The Invisible Guest but it bettered the original and turned out to be a classic thriller.

Nandini Reddy, Samantha's Oh Baby, a remake of Korean film Miss Granny attracted Telugu movie lovers. Aishwarya Rajesh's Kousalya Krishnamurthy, a remake of Tamil Hit Kana attracted all.

Tamil hit Kanithan got remade as Arjun Suravaram turned out to be a hit. Similarly, Ratchasan got remade in Telugu as Rakshasudu and became a hit. Siddharth, Kartik Subbaraj's cult classic Jigarthanda got remade in Telugu as Gaddalakonda Ganesh with Varun Tej as a hero and it became a hit.
