An interesting and thought provoking Cartoon was published in Yellow Nadu newspaper which displayed the dual standards of the newspaper nakedly. The Cartoon was about Haryana government's controversial G.O. that permits constructions in prohibited Aravali mountain ranges. The government was alleged to have changed the rules conveniently to permit illegal constructions in the mountains.
And the Cartoon reads a politician eats forests, rivers and mountains sarcastically.
Interestingly, AP government too brutally released a G.O. a couple of years ago, permitting three crop yielding land to be chosen to build AP's capital Amaravati. When ready made cities like Vizag and Kurnool were available to the capital of AP, the TDP sarkar chose a wonderful fertile land to create Amaravati. It was felt due to caste biased factors, TDP did such a huge blunder.
And now, critics are posing question to Yellow Nadu why the same Cartoon like above was published when TDP was grabbing three crop yielding fertile land. Of course, the media's head mayn't pay heed of such protests.
