The Mana Panel has achieved a major victory in the Telugu Film Producers Council 2026 elections. C. Kalyan from the Mana Panel was elected unopposed as President. Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao was elected as Treasurer. Mohan Vadlapatla from the Mana Panel and Damodara Prasad from the Progressive Panel were elected as Vice Presidents. As Joint Secretaries, Ammi Raju and Thummalapalli Rama Satyanarayana from the Mana Panel won the elections. In the Executive Committee, three members from the Progressive Panel—Maitri Ravi, Niranjan Reddy and D.S. Rao—were elected. Twelve members from the Mana Panel were also elected to the Executive Committee: Padmini, Asian Sunil, Mohan Goud, Sivalenka Krishna Prasad, Danayya, Vamsi Nandipati, Palli Kesava Rao, Srinivasa Rao, Pullarao, Bapiraju, R.K. Goud and Nayeem. The election result for the Secretary post has been kept confidential as the matter is currently pending in court. Election Officer Durga Prasad will seal the result in a cover and submit it to the court. The result will be officially opened and announced in the presence of the judge on September 8.Speaking after the victory, President-elect C. Kalyan thanked the media and everyone who supported the Mana Panel. He said, “First of all, I thank all the media members who supported us. I also thank everyone who travelled from far away to come and vote for us. Thank you for giving our panel members a victory with a 95% majority. “We have come here to do good for the industry and to work for the welfare of producers. The Telugu film industry is doing well compared to other industries, and we request everyone to cooperate with us. “We will soon hold a press meet and announce our action plan. We will stand by small producers and support them in every possible way. I would like to specially thank Bandla Ganesh for his support.” The votes received by the winning candidates were also announced, and all the elected members were congratulated on their victory. The second half turns out to be even more routine and most of the scenes get a dragged feeling as the so-called emotions fail to make an impact even in the climax.The editing of Dinesh Peddi lacked crispness. He should have used the editing scissors more effectively. Sehkar Chandra's music is ok but the songs fail to make an impact on the viewers. He however came up with a perfect background score to elevate the scenes and emotions to another level. K.Karunakar's cinematography made the film look good on screen. His dialogues had an anglical accent and this may not go well with all viewers. He is good on screen with his body language, dialogue delivery and emotions.Kayadu Lohar is ok in her role. She looked good on the screen but got limited scope to show her acting talent. Antony Varghese Pepe steals the show with his impactful performance. So did Samyukta Viswanathan in her role. Mysskin played the role of the antagonist and his role is too predictable. To over come that he tried to bring in eccentricity but it impacted in a negative way. He came up with an interesting and exciting plot. However the narration and screenplay shifts completely turning the entire thing into a disjointed one. Nihas Hidayath narrated so many things and this makes viewers get accustomed to the happenings and the characters. But Nihas regained his composure and once he dealt with the main story, the narration turns interesting. But there are many scenes and characters that looked forced and out of sync to the story.While the first half after the initial confusion, turns interesting in the run up to the interval and brings an end setting to the exciting second half, the second half sinks even further. There are many unnecessary characters and the flat narration and uninspiring execution played the spoil sport. The flashback episodes undoes all the good intentions. Everything ended up irritating and testing the patience of the viewers.The music and background tuned by Jakes Bejoy turned out to be a disappointing affair. He tried to elevate the scenes that offered nothing new. In this film, the age gap is reduced to just around 13 years unlike in Vishwanath &amp; Sons where it was more than 20 years.Right from the start till the finish, Girish AD included many scenes and hilarious elements to bring smiles and create a laughing riot in the theatres. The first half sails through smoothly with racy screenplay and sets the stage for the second half. However the second half falls apart with slow narration. He tried to continue in the same vein in the second half but he over did the comedy scenes and made viewers feel that the story is heading nowhere.There are many predictable elements in the second half and once the director's intention is known in the first half, viewers get disconnected . The story has many threads but none of them are answered in a convincing manner and few of them despite the lengthy runtime left unanswered and the screenplay turned ridiculous to the core. He decided to entertain movie lovers, highlighting the Hyderabadi Deccan culture. He chose a simple point and narrated it in an interesting manner.Though the narration is predictable with three youngsters roaming listlessly before realizing their mistake and changing accordingly, the Deccani accent and the Old City vibes added value to it. What surprises all is that the director did not include a female lead in the film. He showed the female character as the sister to the three main characters.The dialogues are entertaining and natural, and none of them look forced and out of sync. The interval bang is done well turning the first half into a decent one. The second half continues in the same manner, and the screenplay and narration goes in a smooth and sedate manner.However for all the positives, the director after highlighting the conflict point and establishing it quite well, ends the film in a flat manner, disappointing all.The cinematography of SVK showed the Hyderabad old city vibes in a natural and realistic way. He used the camera angles to perfection and showed the nightlife and also the day hustles quite well and in an effective manner.The background score of Smaran Sai is good and complemented the proceedings, adding value to the narration. He came up with foot-tapping songs highlighting the old city culture and Deccani flavor. The editing of Rohit Penumasta is ok but could have been better, as there are a few drags that slowed the pace of the narration. However, predictability crept in with the passage of time, and the unidimensional screenplay hampered the proceedings. The rushed climax did not add much value to the ending. A little fine-tuning of the script and inclusion of a few more twists and turns would have added more power to the final impact. However, in between, he loses steam, but still, the first half ends on a decent note, setting the tone for the second half.He continues in the same manner in the second half but adds a few more intense emotional elements. A couple of twists generate interest, surprising all. The twists come as a surprise in a rather predictable story, and the flat narration, especially in the second half. However, once the twists are unraveled, there is nothing much in the story to take it forward. The climax ends on an emotional note.GV. Prakash Kumar elevated the scenes with his background music. His background score added impact to the emotional scenes. His music and tunes for the songs already became the chartbusters. The Ravi , Swetha love track and the father-daughter marriage episodes ends up testing the patience of the viewers.The court drama and the land dispute in the second half is shown in an illogical and silly manner. The point as to why son is hating his father is not shown in an elaborate manner and the father son bonding is not elevated properly except in the climax.A more racy screenplay, more intense and entertaining script would have added value to the narration. Many expected things to change after Vishal who was seen as a honest and innocent medical representive gets trageted. But nothing of that sorts happen and the entry of other Vishal character is expected to change the proceedings at least in the second half. However, the narration nosedives in the second half to a new low. The scenes featuring Vishal, Dushara Vijayan lack the emotional connect and looks mundane and the so called comedy with Thambi Ramaiah doesn't work.Things doesn't change in the second half and the so called flashback episode which is expected to take the film to next level is dragged to the core testing the patience of the viewers. The chemistry between Vishal and Anjali looked odd on screen and to the irritation of viewers, the pre climax and climax is dragged to the next level leaving people wonder when the film will end. The climax fight looked silly and illogical leaving all shocked. The story is outdated and screenplay and direction didnot inspire any confidence.GV. Prakash Kumar's music offered nothing new. While the screenplay is racy and narration is quite fast paced in the first half, the second half narration slides down with monotonous elements. The preachy dialogues and repetitive scenes put off viewers. Finally the movie ends in a predictable manner.The music of Charan Arjun is good. The title song already became a chartbuster and it is choreographed in a good way on the screen. His background music is in sync with the story. Marthand K Venkatesh's editing is quite good in the first half. The pace in the second half dips due to repetitive scenes and intense emotions. He could have done away with the repetitive scenes. The cinematography of Rudra Sai is good. He showed the rural village atmosphere in a natural and rustic manner. Many will be under the impression that the makers included these scenes to attract genex viewers and then wash off their hands with a message in the climax. A little finetuning of the script, and attention to the second half would have added more power to the final output. Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna's 'Gauthamiputra Satakarni' is performing superbly at the US box office. On its way chasing some of the biggest records in the US, GPS is surpassing yet another milestone. 

Victory Venkatesh and Prince Mahesh's multi-starrer 'Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu' amassed a gross of $1.64M in its full run. GPS, as of now, minted $1.638M. The film is all set to cross SVSC's share today and would occupy 8th place in the Telugu top grossing films list in the US.
GPS, collected a sum of Rs.46+ crores share world wide and it needs a total Rs.50 crores for break even. Shriya has romanced Balakrishna in this historical entertainer. Krish has directed the movie on First Frame Entertainment.
