Why Socio-Fantasy n Why not Fantasy?

Mega Power Star Ram Charan's 'Magadheera' was made with a socio Fantasy element consisting the scenes of contemporary events and a Fantasy world. Similar is the case with Nagarjuna's 'Damarukam', 'Jr.NTR's 'Yamadonga', 'Arundhathi' and many more movies. 

Unfortunately, no producer of tollywood is coming forward to produce a full-fledged Fantasy( janapada) movie. Long back, many classical fantasies such as ' Suvarna Sundari', 'Malleeswari', ' Gunasundari' ' Gulebakavali Katha' hit the screens and created history. And mass masala fantasies such as, 'Chikkadu-Dorakadu', 'Kadaladu-Vadaladu' ' Bandipotu', 'Pidugu Ramudu',' Jwaaladweepa Rahasyam' 'Guruvunu Minchina Sishyudu', 'Prathigna Paalana' etc. created sensation at tollywood box office then. 

With the advancement of Science and Technology and Communication, we can witness a big development in the field of cine industry. We can create a Fantasy world through graphics. Even then, no producer is willing to produce complete Fantasy movies. Perhaps, big heroes are not interested to act in such movies and that is why there are no Fantasy movies. However, they have to remember one thing that the best seller book of world now is 'Harry Potter' and it is a book of a Fantasy world.

BOTTOM-LINE: We have seen a complete Fantasy movie 'Anaganaga O Dheerudu' recently. However, it appeared as if we were watching a hollywood movie. We need mass masala  movies with a native background such as 'Chikkadu Dorakadu', 'Bandipotu' 'Pidugu Ramudu' etc. Romance between hero and heroine is must in these kind of flicks.Certainly, they might work at the box office.
