Sreeleela rejects Mangalavaram sequel

Sreeleela is the most sought after heroine in Telugu and craze for her increased after her special song Kissik in Allu Arjun's Pushpa The Rule. Now reports are coming that she shocked the Mangalavaram makers by rejecting the offer to star in the sequel.

Ajay Bhupathi who shot to fame with the bold entertainer RX100 with Payal Rajput, once again stunned all with the erotic psychological thriller Mangalavaram casting Payal in the lead role. Payal Rajput stunned all with her bold performance in the film.

The makers planned for the sequel and when they contacted Sreeleela, she rejected the offer. A source shares “She was approached to play a rural girl with a nymphomaniac disorder, but she wasn’t ready to take on such a dark-shaded character at this point in her career,”

The source added “The power dynamics of Tollywood stardom are fascinating, and Sreeleela is quickly emerging as a favorite among top directors,” and continues “She has already replaced Rashmika Mandanna in Robinhood and Pooja Hegde in Guntur Kaaram, cementing her status as the go-to actress for high-profile roles.”

She rejected the offer to do special song in Vijay's GOAT in Tamil and is now starring in Sivakarthikeyan's Parasakthi and is set to make her Bollywood debut with Karthik Aryan's Aashique 3. The source adds “With her rising popularity across multiple industries, Sreeleela is fast becoming the next big pan-Indian actress, following in Rashmika Mandanna’s footsteps,”
