Trikala - Script of God Movie: Story Review

Trikala - Script of God story revolves around how the doings in the past life by the ancestors impact the life of a person at present and the consequences faced by them, Siva (Master Mahendran), while in search of the missing girl Nidhi (Sahiti), happens to meet Vaitharan (Ajay) through a call.

This leads to startling and sensational developments and how it is connected to psychiatrist Dr. Maya (Shraddha Das) and who is Trikala Varma form the crux of the story.

Ajay came up with a solid performance in the role. He showed good emotions and variations in expressions and made his presence felt. Master Mahendra showed good expressions highlighting the innocence. Shraddha Das came up with a subtle performance. Tanikella Bharani came up with good performance. Aamani showed her experience in the role of the mother.

Others like Sahithi Avancha, Nandha Durairaj, Sai Dheena, Robo Shankar, Rowdy Rohini, ETV Prabhakar, Ambati Arjun, Spyder Sanjay, Kalloori Vinoth performed according to their roles.

Trikala - Script of God: Technicians Review

Trikala - Script of God story is penned by Mani Tellaguti. He came up with an interesting concept but while trying to narrate it on the screen, he ended up confusing the viewers. More than the story he concentrated on VFX and at times used AI to generate the required VFX. The backstory and Trikala generates interest at the start but right after that he ends up confusing with non linear screenplay.

The first half has been dragged to the core and the slow pace impacted the output. Though some clarity comes in the second half, it turns out to be routine with psychpath kind of elevations and monotonous scenes. The film lacked the natural feel and everything looks artificial in the end.

Pavan Chenna's cinematography is ok. Harshavardhan Rameshwar's music also fall in the same zone. Song on mother is ok. Director Mani Tellaguti himself handled the editing and it turned out to be a huge let down. He should have done away with many unnecessary scenes. Production values are average.

Altogether, Trikala - Script of God despite good point fails to reach the success heights. Director Mani Tellaguti came up with an interesting point but failed with his execution. A little finetuning of the script, racy screenplay and doing away with the confusing elements, could have added value to the narration. Considering all these aspects, Cinejosh goes with 2 rating for Trikala - Script of God.
