Peddi Two Days Worldwide BO Collections

Ram Charan’s sports action drama Peddi is doing great at the box office. The film collected Rs 135 crore worldwide on day one. On day two it added around Rs 46 crore more. With this the two day worldwide gross has reached Rs 181.8 crore. Telugu states are giving the biggest share of the total.
Occupancy and ticket bookings are also going up for today which shows the film will have a strong weekend. Venkata Satish Kilaru of Vriddhi Cinemas produced the movie and Buchi Babu Sana directed it. Janhvi Kapoor is the female lead and her pairing with Ram Charan is getting a lot of attention online.
The film’s story and fight scenes are getting good response from fans. Social media is full of posts about Ram Charan’s new look and mass action. But some viewers also raised concerns about Janhvi Kapoor’s character. A section of the audience felt that a few romance scenes showed harassment in a light way and did not show consent clearly.
The talk started on day one and grew bigger on day two. Director Buchi Babu Sana issued a note. He said he did not expect the scenes to be taken in a negative way. The idea was to show playful love between the lead pair. He added that the team will be more careful in future films and give better representation.
