New Bengali Film Abhaya Shakti To Tell RG Kar Doctor Case Story

A new Bengali movie named Abhaya Shakti is in the works. The film is based on the tragic case of a young doctor at RG Kar Medical College on August 9, 2024. The incident led to huge protests in West Bengal and other places. People across the country showed anger and asked for justice. The filmmakers have not shared the names of the actors yet. But the movie is already creating strong public interest.

Shankudeb Panda is the director of Abhaya Shakti. He is also a BJP leader. He said the film will have actors from Bengal and other states too. The team plans to show parts of the case that were not seen before. He claims some facts were hidden earlier. The shoot will start in August. The team chose this month because the incident happened in August last year. The goal is to bring the truth to the screen.
