Ramani Kalyanam (2026) Movie: Story Review
Ramani Kalyanam revolves around two youngsters who overcomes their physical irregularities to attain success in their personal and professional life.
Sanjana (Deepshikha Chandran), a self respected woman makes her living as a RJ and a singer in a bar , overcoming her disability.
Where this leads to and what happens when she comes across Raj (Surya Vashistta) who suffers from partial disability, Kishore (Srinivas Reddy), his wife Geetha (Shyamala), Doctor Aravind (Chaitu Jonnalagadda) form the interesting part.
Ramani Kalyanam (2026) Movie: Artists Review
Deepshika Ranjan looked good on screen in some places. But at time she looked artificial, pale and jaded. Despite playing the role of a blind girl, she expressed herself quite well and impressed with her screenpresence. The dialogues penned for her character are thought provoking and motivational.
Surya Vashistta did well in the role of a person confined to the wheelchair and showed the trauma and agony quite well. Sreenivas Reddy got a different and impactful role and he elevated the scenes showing good emotions. Shyamala did well in the role and is impactful. Chaitu Jonnalagadda is ok in the role of the doctor and so is Prabhavathi.
Ramani Kalyanam (2026) Movie: Technical Review
Ramani Kalyanam story is penned by Vijay Adireddy. He tried to send the message to the society with this emotional love story that disability shouldn't be an obstacle in the success and one shouldn't stop progressing brooding over the past happenings.
The first half starts with the introduction of various characters and the blossoming of love between the lead pair before the interval twist. But the routine shades and slow pace ended up testing the patience of the viewers. The entire second half is loaded with emotional content. The twist in the pre climax is good and the climax turns out to be emotional.
There are many unnecessary scenes that defies logic and also the conflict is not shown in a convincing manner. The relationship and connection to four kids and the granny is not shown properly.
Aravind Thirukovela with his cinematography turned the scenes colorful and visually appealing on the screen. Sooraj S Kurup's songs are just average. He however made up for it with his background music adding value to the narration. Ram Jagadeesh's dialogues are relevant, interesting and motivational. Editing of Raviteja Giriala left a lot to be desired. Though the film's duration is less, the editing made it feel like the film is never ending. Production values are fine.
Ramani Kalyanam: Advantages
- Deepshikha Chandran
- Few Dialogues
Ramani Kalyanam: Disadvantages
- Slow Pace
- Predictable Elements
- Missing Logics
Ramani Kalyanam (2026) Movie: Rating Analysis
Altogether, Ramani Kalyanam, fails to make a strong impact due to routine shades. Director Vijay Adireddy tried to send message to the youngsters through the emotional love story that disability is not a hindrance to the success in life. But illogical scenes, predictable elements played the spoilsport though there are some good thought provoking dialogues.
