Kajal enters Kannappa. The Telugu magnum opus "Kannappa" just got bigger and better with the addition of Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar and South Indian sensation Kajal Aggarwal to its already star-studded cast.

Akshay Kumar's involvement was announced on April 16th, marking his debut in the Telugu film industry. Vishnu Manchu, who plays the lead role and is also producing the film, expressed his excitement, stating, "The #Kannappa journey just got more thrilling as we welcome the Superstar Mr. Akshay Kumar to the Telugu Film Industry."

We have exclusively learned that Kajal Aggarwal is also on board, and an official announcement is expected soon. While details about her character are yet to be revealed, her presence adds another layer of intrigue to this epic saga.

"Kannappa" is based on the Telugu folklore about an ardent devotee of Lord Shiva. The film will explore the journey of Kannappa, a fearless warrior and an atheist, who eventually becomes a devoted follower of Lord Shiva. According to the legend, Kannappa's devotion was so profound that he even plucked out his own eye as an offering to the deity.

The film boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Preity Zinta, Mohanlal, Prabhas, Nayanthara, Mohan Babu, R Sarathkumar, Brahmanandam, Madhoo, and Mukesh Rishi. Adding to the film's grandeur, Hollywood cinematographer Sheldon Chau, action director Kecha Khamphakdee, and dance maestro Prabhu Deva have also been roped in. "Kannappa" promises to be a visual spectacle with its epic storyline, star-studded cast, and renowned technicians. The film will be released in multiple languages, catering to a pan-Indian audience.
