Now Its Time For Aparichitudu To Take Over The Theatres

The latest star to jump the bandwagon of re-release trend is Chiyaan Vikram. This dubbed films re-release trend was started with Dhanush's 3 and is followed by Suriya's Surya S/O Krishnan and Dhanush's Raghuvaran Btech. Seeing the tremendous response these films got, Ravichandran of Aascar Films is planning to restore Vikram - Shankar's Iconic film Anniyin / Aparichitudu in latest technology of 4K and Dobly.

The restoration process is also started and enhancing the visuals and audio quality of the film. Anniyan, directed by Shankar and starring Vikram in a triple role, was released in 2005 and became a huge hit among the audience and critics alike. The film dealt with the theme of multiple personality disorder and social justice, and featured stunning action sequences, songs, and visual effects. The film also starred Sadha, Prakash Raj, Vivek, Nedumudi Venu, and Nassar in pivotal roles.

Ravichandran, who is also the owner of Aascar Films,  to re-release the film after seeing the overwhelming response from the fans on social media. He said that he wanted to give a new generation of viewers a chance to experience the film on the big screen with enhanced quality. He also said that he is in talks with Shankar and Vikram to promote the re-release and make it a grand event.

The re-release date of Anniyan has not been finalized yet, may to be released the film in multiple languages across India and abroad, as the film has a universal appeal and message. Anniyan is a film that tells the story of a lawyer who suffers from multiple personality disorder and becomes a vigilante to fight against corruption and injustice in the society.
