TDP blames Speaker for 'diverting House attention'

Assembly Speaker Kiran Kumar Reddy is cooperating with Congress members by diverting the attention of the House, alleged senior Telugu Desam leaders Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu and Motkupalli Narsimhulu.

Talking to reporters at the Media Point on the Assembly premises, the TDP leaders alleged that the Speaker has colluded with treasury bench members and diverting the attention of the House, which has to debate people’s problems and pressing issues.

They alleged that Chief Minister had not urged the Opposition parties to help in the smooth functioning of the House.

They said the Opposition parties only urged the Speaker and Chief Minister to help run the House business in a healthy and smooth manner.

As TDP members mounted pressure on the Speaker and the Chief Minister, Kiran Kumar Reddy convened a Business Advisory Committee meeting, they said.
