Resenting the attack on lawyers by Telugu Desam Party activists at Indira Park on Saturday, the Telangana lawyers have decided to keep away from the courts in the twin-cities on March 8.
On March 8 the Telangana lawyers instead of attending to the courts in the city, they will stage protests and dharnas in front of the Telugu Desam Party office in Hyderabad. The protests of lawyers will be backed by Telangana Rashtra Samiti, the Joint action Committee and various associations of Telangana.
The lawyers are planning to file a criminal case against the TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu.
Meanwhile Telangana Rashtra Samiti president K Chandrasekhar Rao, and Joint Action Committee convener Kodandaram visited the lawyers who were injured in the attack and comforted them. They demanded that Chandrababu Naidu should apologize the lawyers for the ugly incident.
High Court advocate Chandrasekhar Reddy who was seriously injured during the attack at Indira Park was shifted to Yashoda Hospital for treatment.
TDP leader Arvind Goud claimed that there was no truth in the statement that the TDP activists attacked the lawyers at Indira Park. Some political leaders in their bid to tarnish the name of the party are conspiring this case against TDP, Goud said.
