Spelling out its stand Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen chief, Asaduddin Owaisi, made it clear that the party’s first priority is to fight for the reservation of Muslims and not the Telangana issue.

Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, Owaisi said ``We are not concerned with the Telangana statehood imediately. We are neither against Telangana or the united Andhra Pradesh. Our priority is to get reservations for the Muslims. We want to give the best of the benefits to the community in education and employment rather than fighting for a separate state.”
